ABOUT

The nervous system is influential and impressionable; it can change and so can you. It may seem enigmatic, but its cues can be understood as doorways into our state of mind and body, and we can learn ways to shift our states in fairly simple ways. If you feel over or underwhelmed, stressed, or perplexed, come join us!

In this 4-week series we will explore the nervous system through the lens of polyvagal theory. What I offer is rooted in accessible psychoeducation, embodimed exploration, and time for your questions to be addressed. This is all in service of helping you understanding how your nervous system functions and does what it does. I aim to teach through an inclusive and depathologizing lens, one that honors how you / we have and do survive.

Unique Aspects of This Workshop Series:

  • Destigmatization of the Stress Response: Learning to appreciate your nervous system and its natural responses to stress rather than seeing them as something to fix or control. We will explore how your nervous system works to support you, shifting the perspective from fear and frustration to understanding and collaboration.
  • Integration of Psychoeducation and Experiential Practice: This series combines educational content with  experiential practices to support you to integrate what you’re learning. You’ll not only understand the science of the nervous system but also engage with practices directly, so you can feel the benefits in real-time.
  • Personalized Tools for Nervous System Regulation: You will learn practical, simple tools to support your nervous system and the systems around you.
  • Space for Connection and Support: In addition to learning, these workshops will offer opportunities for connection with others, giving space for questions, group wisdom and sharing of experiences.
