Somatic Experiencing & Dreamwork to Restore Authenticity, Nervous System Regulation & Belonging.

"Working with Julie was game changing, and the missing ingredient in my healing process."

Do you have Insight but remain stuck in patterns?

Despite how much we may try, it is impossible to talk the body out of its experience.

If you’ve reached an impasse in more traditional therapies, I’d like to help you experience shifts that feel sustainable and changes you can notice.

It would be my honor to work with you.

Sometimes it isn’t about figuring things out.

It is about being with, being seen, and feeling what is ready to be felt.

Afterall, changing the body alters the self.

I am a somatic therapist and educator integrating Somatic Experiencing®,
dreamwork, and expressive arts to support healing and transformation.

My work engages the
body, imagination, and creative process to build resilience, support nervous system regulation,
and deepen self-understanding. It is depth-oriented and relational.

I serve individuals, communities, and organizations through
personal sessions, consultation, speaking and teaching events, and group facilitation.

These sessions are not talk therapy. They are a space of deep listening, where we center the body’s innate intelligence and propensity towards healing.
In the beginning of our work together, I support you to clarify why this really matters to you and what you want. I do this because I want you to feel as clear as you can about your intention going into the work. Knowing why this matters can also support you to be patient towards changes that take time and consistency, staying with the phases of the process and true to your intent as a resource.
During sessions, we begin with simple conversation, noticing how you’re arriving that day, where you feel resourced, and what you’d like to tend to. From there, we will work in collaboration to reveal what is underneath the surface of patterns of behavior, getting to and working at the roots of things to support sustainable change. Over time, we will track the larger themes that resurface, tending with care, curiosity and presence.
I will always meet you where you are, and together we will slow things down, creating more time and space for what is emerges. I will be the guardian of your nervous system process, as to ensure you are feeling resourced enough to go into what is uncomfortable with courage and trust.
This work may be right for you have reached an impasse in other forms of therapy. It is suitable for those drawn to a process that centers the body’s intelligence and other ways of knowing and being. People that have tried to change but still feel stuck often report benefiting from this work.
There are many practitioners out there and our connection, more than what we do, matters to the change-making process. A good fit is about feeling self-enough, resonate with, and gently challenged in the ways that help expand growth.
I offer a complimentary 30-minute consultation as a way for us to get to know each other. You are welcome to bring questions and curiosities that you have and we can discuss how this work can support your right now in your life. It is not a therapy session but rather a way to sense into how we might work together.
If we choose to go forward, I suggest that we meet weekly or bi-weekly to begin. When dealing with the nervous and attachment systems, consistency and continuity matters.
This work tends to the deepest layers within and implicit memory, that which surpasses language and conscious recall. It is meaningful work that can change the way you relate to yourself, others and the world. It reshapes the systems that affect the way we navigate loving, living and working.
Clients often describe feeling more grounded, resourced, and connected to themselves and their lives. They report an increase in self-awareness, self-trust and agency.
You may also begin to notice nuance within the patterns of behavior that you want to change, with earlier warning signs and more clarity.
This work can help shift long-held trauma responses and their impact on the body and perception, open creative pathways, and reconnect you with your own innate inner guidance and vitality underneath it all.
I specialize at the intersection of trauma renegotiation using dreams and the creative process. I work with a wide range of experiences, including developmental and relational trauma, shock trauma, grief and loss, chronic stress, anxiety, body-based symptoms, and creative blocks.
My approach is inclusive, respectful of what is conscious and unconscious, and deeply reverent of the unique ways we adapt and survive.
My current rate is $135/session.
I have limited sliding scale spaces which prioritize, but are not limited to, BIPOC, LGBTQ+ and trans/GNC communities.
I stand for making this work as accessible as possible and also have group cohorts which tend to be more affordable and offer package rates upon request.
If you have questions about how I determine my rates or want to talk about a sliding scale opportunity, please book a free consultation and we can discuss this and any other questions you have thoroughly.
