ABOUT
The nervous system might seem enigmatic, but its cues can be understood as doorways into our state, and that state we can learn to shift in a collaborative way. If you feel over or underwhelmed, stressed, or perplexed, come join us!
This cohort is a 3-week series exploring the nervous system through the lens of polyvagal theory. I will teach you accessible psychoeducation that can help you understand your state while developing flexible choices in response to the inevitable stressors of life.
Every class will be a blend of psychoeducation and embodied practice, with time for question and answer, group sharing by choice, and creative exploration.
You will learn simple, practical tools to become aware of your body’s signals, collaborate with and support your nervous system, and increase your capacity to stay present with your internal experience and external world. Each exercise you learn can be integrated into your everyday life.
The nervous system is influential and impressionable; it can change and so can you.
