Transforming trauma through the body, dreams, and creative insight.

Heal Deeply, Live Authentically, and Discover True Belonging.

do you have insight but remain stuck in patterns?

If you’ve reached an impasse in more traditional therapies, let’s connect.

You may know, it can be a challenge to talk the body out of its experience. The body has emergent sensations, sometimes pleasant, sometimes unpleasant, sometimes under the radar. It is where we store hurt and where we heal.

We can learn to identify and listen to these sensations while increasing the capacity to stay present and navigate what arises with confidence.

Sometimes it isn’t about figuring things out.

It is about being with, being seen, and feeling what is ready to be felt.

Afterall, changing the body alters the self.

As a somatic therapist, I help people foster an atmosphere of spaciousness and inclusivity by resolving trauma and stress while connecting with the wisdom of their bodies, dreams, and creative expression.

Let this be the start of something different –

The start of embracing all that you are and all you can be.

Do you struggle with…?

  • Chronic stress and overwhelm
  • Self-doubt and low self-worth
  • Feeling disconnected from self or others
  • Knowing what you want and need
  • Feeling safe and secure in your own skin
  • Making life choices confidently
  • Helplessness and rage
  • Blame and shame
  • Anxiety and/or depression
  • A sense of urgency
  • Connecting with and navigating your body’s experience
  • Expressing your emotions
  • Setting and following through on your boundaries
  • Unresolved traumatic memory
  • Feeling stuck in repeating patterns of behavior, thought, or emotion
  • Addictions
  •  Being overly critical of yourself or others

I'm Julie.

I am a somatic therapist and educator, trained through Tamalpa Institute and Somatic Experiencing®. I am also a dream worker, yoga teacher, and community/clinical herbalist. I use an array of healing modalities, primarily Somatic Experiencing, dreamwork, and the expressive arts to help people resolve trauma and its’ physical, behavioral, and emotional manifestations.

My passion is to support people to cultivate a life of authenticity –  embracing depth, spaciousness, nuance, resilience, and connection.

I offer spaces where other ways of knowing and being are welcomed, celebrated, and worthwhile. I provide education that empowers people to feel competent in tracking and relating to their nervous system and states of activation and settling, so that what happens in the body is respectfully demystified, all while honoring the unknowable.

I bring over a decade of experience and training in nervous system physiology and education, the creative arts process and praxis, yoga and breathwork and herbalism to offer whole person care.

It would be my honor to work with you.
