Yoga Nidra - Rest Into Being

ABOUT

Come join us for a themed weekly evening yoga nidra session – a guided practice of deep rest that creates a space for your bodymind and nervous system to unwind. Also known as yogic sleep, yoga nidra is a form of practice where you lie down, prepare the body for stillness, and allow yourself to be led into a state of relaxation.

The class isn’t about doing poses – it is rather about giving yourself permission to slow down, turn inward, reset your nervous system, and access a deep well of restoration. Through breath awareness, body scanning, and visualization, yoga nidra gently shifts you into a liminal space between waking and sleeping, a state of parasympathetic rest, where healing and rejuvenation are supported to take place.

Whether you’re feeling stressed, exhausted, or need a moment of stillness among the fast pace of life, this practice starts every time exactly where you are. No experience is needed. Bring yourself, layers for warmth, headphones, and anything else that helps you to get cozy. You are welcome to join from your bed or any other comfortable surface where you ideally will not be disturbed.

At the end of each class there will be time for drawing and/or writing and a chance to share.
